Lawyer Julian R. Urban, owner of the law firm JUR Urban Rechtsanwälte, has now been authorized by the President of the Berlin Bar Association to use the title “Specialist Lawyer for Tenancy Law and Condominium Law” (“Fachanwalt für Mietrecht und Wohnungseigentumsrecht”.
WHAT IS A SPECIALIST LAWYER FOR TENANCY LAW AND RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY LAW?
According to the Code of Professional Conduct for Lawyers (FAO), a lawyer may bear the title of specialist lawyer for tenancy law and residential property law after special admission. This requires, on the one hand, practical experience in extrajudicial and judicial disputes in at least 120 cases. On the other hand, it also requires proof of special, theoretical knowledge, which he acquires in courses and confirms in written examinations.
